My name is Roxanne Herres. I’m a photographer based in northern New Hampshire, and I’ve been photographing nature, landscapes, wildlife, and travel scenes for over 18 years. I recently launched Herres Photography, a website that includes a blog and an online store where I sell wall art and nature-inspired gifts for both homes and commercial spaces.
This site is a place to view and purchase my work, read the stories behind the images, and learn more about how and where each photo was taken.
What You’ll Find on the Site
Herres Photography includes two main parts: a store and a blog.
The store features collections of my nature and travel photography. You can shop framed prints, canvas, giclée, metal, or acrylic wall art, as well as gift items. My work is available for both personal spaces and commercial use. Many of my pieces are already in homes and businesses across the U.S.
The blog is where I’ll be sharing more about the photos themselves. I’ll write about the locations, why I took the photo, what I saw, and any camera settings or techniques I used. This is for anyone who enjoys learning about the details behind a photograph, or who’s interested in travel and photography in general.
About Me as a Photographer
I’ve been doing this type of photography for nearly two decades. Over the years, my work has been published in magazines, shown at events across the state, and sold to both large and small businesses, as well as homeowners around the country. I’ve also won a few small photography awards.
Photography has always been part of my life, even while working full-time as a web designer. I run a design business at sunnvalley.com, where I build websites for towns, businesses, and organizations. Many of the images I use in those projects are my own, and I also offer commercial photography and custom stock for design work.
Herres Photography is a separate site and brand that focuses on my photography for wall art and gifts. You can learn more about my background at herresphotography.com/about.
Where & What I Photograph
I live in northern New Hampshire, an area surrounded by lakes, mountains, and wildlife. I regularly travel throughout New England, including nearby parts of Vermont, Maine, and Canada. These locations are often featured in my photography. I also travel in the United States to state and national parks.
Subjects include wide landscapes, small natural details, changing seasons, and wild animals. I shoot what I see during day trips, hikes, and drives. I work with natural light and use a variety of lenses to capture everything from large views to close-ups.
Artwork for Homes and Commercial Spaces
My wall art is designed for any space that could use natural scenery. Whether you’re decorating a living room, office, medical facility, waiting room, rental property, or vacation home, my collections include a range of themes and color palettes.
You can choose from several print styles and materials—framed prints, canvas, giclée, metal, or acrylic—depending on your preference. I also offer art for commercial projects and can work with interior designers, architects, or business owners to provide the right type of images for your space.
If you’re looking for gifts or smaller items, I offer those as well.
Follow Along
If you’re interested in photography, nature, or travel, the blog is a good place to check in. I’ll be adding new posts about recent photos, locations, and what went into getting the shot. It’s not a tutorial site, but I’ll include technical details and general insights for anyone curious.

Thanks for visiting Herres Photography. Feel free to browse the shop, read the blog, or reach out if you’re looking for specific art for your home or business.
